Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Rugby (Covering the Midlands and East Anglia)

Salary: £36,000-£46,000 plus commission and company car

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in good relationship management and B2B sales to help us develop our Site Accommodation business unit. The role is a key position for driving commercial performance. You’ll be based at our Rugby site travelling across the Midlands and East Anglia.

As Business Development Manager you will focus on business development activity to grow our presence within the region as well as activities ranging from developing new business to maintaining existing relationships and growing accounts. We are looking for someone with a pro-active approach to business development who can utilise a range of tools and media content to understand current and future needs for winning business in the competitive construction accommodation sector.

To generate and participate in business development initiatives, including marketing campaigns, to heighten local awareness in the area and ensure maximum conversion of opportunities we are looking for someone with excellent negotiating and influencing skills and an extremely driven and ambitious approach.

This is a technical and solution based sales role therefore a degree of practical skills & understanding are required.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A proven track record in strategic account management (relationship building, problem resolution, opportunity development and collaborative working)
  • A wealth of experience building credible, high level, business relationships
  • The ability to negotiate, influence, persuade and problem solve
  • Experience working in or with the education sector
  • Technical, face to face selling and order winning experience
  • Full UK driving licence
