We are seeking a Sales Enablement Executive to join our skilled marketing team at our Head Office in York as part of our growth plans to drive commercial improvements and results.  The role could be full-time or part-time (reduced hours over 4 days per week).

 

This role is responsible for ensuring the sales team has the right tools, resources, and insights to maximise efficiency and conversion rates.

 

This hands-on role involves managing and maintaining the commercial toolkit, ensuring each tool has a clear purpose, and providing practical support in preparing sales materials for key projects and customers.

 

The role also involves evaluating the effectiveness of sales tools, negotiating licenses, identifying new technologies, and working with the analyst to measure performance and ROI. By strategically managing sales enablement tools, this role ensures the sales team can focus on high-value opportunities and close deals more effectively.

 

Covering the UK & Europe, some travelling is required to understand the business needs and deliver these improvements.

 

As a Sales Enablement Executive, you will:

  • Take ownership of the commercial toolkit, ensuring it is well-structured and effectively supports the sales team.
  • Audit existing tools, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create, update, maintain, and remove tools as needed to keep the toolkit relevant and efficient.
  • Support the preparation of sales tools for large projects and key customers.
  • Oversee all tools that help the sales team convert leads, including Glenigan, Lead Forensics, Live Chat, CPD platforms, Sales Navigator, Direct Account Marketing (DAM) and Cognism.
  • Identify and assess new tools that could improve sales effectiveness.

Our ideal candidate

 

We are looking for someone who has:

*            Relevant bachelor’s degree / MBA (desirable)

*            Previous experience of a sales role, either business to business or business to consumer

*            Strong marketing expertise

*            Ability to negotiate and build relationships with external suppliers

*            Commercial awareness

*            Previous experience of working with CRM systems

*            Able to use MS Office and SharePoint to a high level

*            Full UK driving licence.
