We have a fantastic opportunity for commercially minded individual to join our Site Accommodation team in Bristol as a Business Development Manager!
Your role will focus on business development activity to grow our presence within the South- West region by developing new business, maintaining existing relationships, and growing accounts.
You will be required to have a pro-active approach to business development by using a range of tools and media content to understand current and future needs for winning business in the competitive construction accommodation sector.
Role Details
- Salary: £36,000 - £46,000
* Role based: Bristol, BS10 7SD
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
Role Responsibilities
* Carry out structured local business development activity, to help develop and grow accounts in the construction sector, utilising the existing databases, as well as developing new relationships.
* Prepare and issue quotations and drawings, and promptly follow up all quotations and negotiate to achieve orders.
* Achieve hire order targets as well as other commercial KPI’s, as agreed with the Depot Manager, and/or Regional Manager, Portakabin (Site Accommodation) Ltd.
* Foster and develop sound internal and external customer relationships through effective communication and provide excellent levels of service.
* Ensure compliance with all legislation, codes of practice, industry guidelines and/or Company procedure/Policies relating to Health and Safety driving a Zero Harm culture.
* Ensure the speedy and efficient handling of all opportunities.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
* Good level of numeracy/literacy
* Full UK driving licence
* Business to business sales experience (face to face)
* Technical sales experience
* Experience of carrying out a business development campaign/cold calling
* Target Driven
* Customer focus
