Salary: £48,000k - £50,000k + Quarterly Commission + Company Car

Location: Working from home and UK Weekly Travel

 

We have a rare and career changing opportunity for an exceptional, target driven Business Manager to join our successful Portakabin sales team that focuses on identify new business opportunities for large modular building projects that are the right strategic fit for Sales E&W.

 

As a highly motivated and committed experienced professional sales individual, you will have successfully undertaken progressive roles within your career. You will have a forward-thinking approach and a clear vision to succeed.

 

Your remit will be working on our largest and most complex projects at Portakabin and being directly accountable for work winning and negotiating on significant contracts through to final signature. Delivering for both our business and our customers.

 

This role will be target driven focusing on work winning activity, where you should maximise all opportunities to promote Portakabin products and services through reactive and proactive approaches.

 

You will work alongside Bid, Projects, and Service teams, and be a strong communicator, organised, work with accuracy, attention to detail, and have a strong teamwork ethic.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Field-sales based role, results driven and accountable for large modular work winning and meeting commercial KPIs.
  • Reaching Individual targets.
  • Key account management activity with large or repeat clients and cross business unit integration in line with the company wide strategy.
  • Business development activity including attendance at networking and conference events.
  • Running Continued Professional Development sessions for key accounts.
  • Timely CRM management to ensure accurate forecasting within the Business Unit.
  • Cyclical client engagement sought at the completion of a project, integrating the Communications Team for case studies, client testimonials and reference projects, all of which are critical to facilitate future work winning.
  • Contribution and support in tender submissions to ensure chances of success are maximised by putting the customer needs and drivers at the centre of every written proposal and prioritising their needs through our proposed solution.

 

Essential Criteria for this rare opportunity

  • Substantial field sales, face to face experience selling high value, premium products within the building/Manufacturing industry
  • Dealing with high end clients and customers
  • Techinal Sales Exeperience 
  • The availability to travel weekly around the UK and stay over - Full UK driving licence
  • Target Driven and has a forward-thinking approach
  • Proven commercial awareness
  • Strong experience of carrying out business development activities
  • Strong communicating, you will be organised, work with accuracy,  attention to detail, and have a strong teamwork ethic.
