We’re looking for a motivated** Finance** apprentice who will bring energy, creative new ideas and a fresh perspective to help Portakabin continue to innovate, lead and transform the world of modular buildings. Sharing our passion for numbers, if you’re an ambitious and hardworking self-starter, who is looking to earn while you learn, then we want to hear from you!
You will work within the central/commercial teams in our finance department, responsible for supporting the team in a variety of finance roles across the Portakabin Group.
You will be supported through a structured in house development programme and a range of classroom based workshops and virtual learning with Kaplan Financial Ltd to gain a Level 3 AAT Diploma, ensuring you attain the relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours to achieve your apprenticeship.
Throughout the duration of your apprenticeship you will be appointed a workplace mentor to support you with your learning.
What we’re looking for‿.
Essential Requirements
* 5 GCSE’s Grades A*-C, including Maths and English or equivalent
* Maths GCSE Grade A* - A (Desirable)
* 2 A’levels or equivalent (Desirable)
* Accounting related qualification (A Level in Accounting, Intro to Bookkeeping course, BTRN and BKCL) (Desirable)
* Computer literate with a solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Able to work with precision and excellent attention to detail
* You will enjoy problem solving and working as a team
* Well-organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage expectations effectively
* You will have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop your skills
