Role: Solutions Architect – Modern Workplace
Salary: £52,000 - £62,000 + Bonus
Location: Hybrid - York, YO32 9PT
We have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect to join our Head Office in York, overseeing all aspects of Modern Workplace Platforms at Portakabin. As a Solutions Architect, you will have a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform, Teams, and other Modern Workplace Platforms, along with innovative solution design, architecture, and governance skills.
As our next Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for establishing security best practices and ensuring data integrity within the Modern Workplace Platforms. As well as defining and implementing governance policies and procedures for the platforms, whilst managing the portfolio of projects and their delivery via 3rd party suppliers.
You will play an instrumental role in defining the platform’s vision and steering the direction of the platform roadmap, aligning it with the overall business strategy, and collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into effective and scalable solutions.

As a Solutions Architect, you will:
- Have a degree level qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Be highly skilled in architecting and deploying complex Modern Workplace Platform solutions
- Have experience managing a portfolio of projects and their delivery via external suppliers and managing the performance of external suppliers for BAU support
- Be experienced in defining product roadmaps and managing a pipeline of projects
