We are looking for a Labourer to join our Site Accommodation team in West Bromwich Hire Centre!
As a Labourer you will be carrying out all tasks necessary to refurbish and fit out the complete range of our buildings to the highest possible standards.
Flexibility is required in this role due to the workload of projects and rectifications which are based on and off site. Your working pattern will be 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30 and finishing early on Friday at 15:30 (inclusive of lunch breaks).
Role Details
- Hourly Rate: £12.18 p/h
- Opportunity for overtime.
- Opportunity to earn additional hourly rate between £0.20 p/h to £3.50 p/h based on skill set and behaviours.

Role Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparation of buildings and toilet blocks ahead of refurbishment, ensuring buildings are cleaned to the required standard before they are dispatched
- General housekeeping around the yard and work areas
- Ensuring paint storage, tool storage and material store areas including canteen facilities are clean and tidy to achieve a safe working environment
- Assisting operations team with manual handling and storage
- Preparation and painting of metal work and ancillary items as part of the refurbishment process
- Maintain tools and equipment in order to maximise their use and prolonged life.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong operational experience in the relevant trades
- Experience gained within construction/related industry
- Good level of numeracy/literacy
- Relevant CSCS card and health and safety experience.
